▼ First off, new LJ header/theme! I wanted to do an entire new layout, but then couldn't find one I liked, so in the end I stuck with the old one with a new header. But it's there, anyway.
▼ On the job hunting front, I still do not have a job. I do however have an interview on Tuesday, and I unexpectedly had an interview today, so that's something.
▼ My little brother on the other hand has his college graduation this week and then he's flying to California for a job that pays about $100K per year as a starting salary.Not that I'm blindingly jealous or feeling like a failure in comparison or anything...
▼ Apparently I'm doing Camp Nanowrimo this year. I'm not entirely sure why; I don't even have a clear concept in mind, much less a story. All I've got so far is "It might be cool to try to write high fantasy for once", and that's ... virtually nothing. So there may be meltdown posts come June. You've been warned.
▼ I'll put up another 100 Things post sometime tonight.

Thought about changing my layout to something focusing on River Song's awesome Time Of Angels shoes, and also the Kirsty MacColl song "In These Shoes?", but can't seem to make the concept work for me. Sad. So this is mainly a warning that my layout may change in the next couple days, but for now we're stayin' with Yunjin Kim.

Why, yes, I did just randomly change my layout again.
...Look, this is what I do when I want to feel productive but have no motivation to do anything actually productive.
Plus I was getting bored of looking at my last one.
Let's see how long this one lasts!

Tonight, Psych returned!
I totally lost track of time and missed the teaser, so I'm going to have to watch it again. But OMG. Vick! And Juliet! And Shawn and Gus! And Henry! And Lassiter! I MISSED YOU GUYS. <3 <3 <3
Also, Shawn and Gus were in top form this episode, I approve.

Day 29 ♥ Who You Think Should Be the Next Doctor
Paterson Joseph, which is who I was rooting for back when all the rumors were flying around and nobody knew who Matt Smith was. (ILU, Matt!) But srsly, Paterson Joseph would be an awesome Doctor, I firmly believe.
I would also not be averse to a female Doctor. (Shock! Horror! Gasp!)
BUT MOSTLY I'm okay with them casting people I've never heard of, it's worked well so far.

new layout
I'm sure you're all very used to my ocd-changing-of-the-layouts by now, but whatever, I've got a new layout now.

I can't get the miniicons to work right, though. :/ They keep getting cut off, no matter what I do to try and fix the problem. Any one have any advice? Fixed! TY, ageless_aislynn! ♥
In unrelated news, there is new LOST tonight. Also, my iPod's shuffle is bizarre.

After some fussing around, I now have the maximum number of icons for a free account (ohgodhowamisupposedtosurvivewithonlysixicons) and a customized layout. Both are probably just placeholders until I come up with something better, but don't hold me to that.
I do kind of dig DW's multiple-icon-uploader, though, and the description field is neat.
If you couldn't tell from the header, yes, I am missing my city. ;)
Anyway, I'm not really crossposting because it takes too much effort, but whatever, I'll make an effort to use this journal at least sometimes.

what heist were you watching?
New layout! Because as much as I liked the Charlie/Claire one I had it for a ridiculously long time by my standards. Any opinions?

Also, to all the DW fans on my flist: if you have seen this past weekend's episode ("42") already, then I would like to draw your attention to the lighting. If you haven't, well, then, when you see it pay attention to the lighting. Because Rory Taylor did an amazing job with it. It's a work of art without ever breaking suspension of reality, which is an awesome accomplishment.
Seriously, when I was watching "42" I enjoyed the plot and Martha was awesome and the Doctor was awesome and etc., etc., etc., but it was the lighting I kept stopping to gape over. I actually had to e-mail the BBC to find out who was responsible because I couldn't find his name anywhere. It was just that awesome.
