time and relative dimension in space

So in my quest to read through as much of my collection of ebooks as possible (I maybe have an addiction to ebooks and get more well before I've finished reading the ones I already have, similar to my addiction to dead-tree books but worse because ebooks cost less if you're doing it right) I have hit the Complete Works Of HP Lovecraft. Which I'd been putting off, because I tend to bounce off Lovecraft's writing style and because, you know, he was a massive racist, but which had stayed on my reading list because I like the Cthulu mythos enough that I feel like I should read the source material.

All of the above is still true, I've been working on this book for over a month and I'm only ~70% through it, haha I make bad choices. There are glimmers of awesomeness and the Cthulu mythos is still fascinating but oh man Lovecraft cannot write engaging fiction to save his life.

Anyway, the point of this post is that having read The Dunwich Horror properly now, I'm reminded that according to certain extracanonical sources Andromeda's Harper is originally from Dunwich, and yet as far as I'm aware no one has ever written fic where he was raised in the cult of Yog-Sothoth or is even distantly descended from the Elder Gods and why is this not the case.

I know, I know, ~be the change~ but we all know I can't write plot.

Why, yes, I did just randomly change my layout again.

...Look, this is what I do when I want to feel productive but have no motivation to do anything actually productive.

Plus I was getting bored of looking at my last one.

Let's see how long this one lasts!

I totally lost track of time and missed the teaser, so I'm going to have to watch it again. But OMG. Vick! And Juliet! And Shawn and Gus! And Henry! And Lassiter! I MISSED YOU GUYS. <3 <3 <3

Also, Shawn and Gus were in top form this episode, I approve.

Day 29 ♥ Who You Think Should Be the Next Doctor

Paterson Joseph, which is who I was rooting for back when all the rumors were flying around and nobody knew who Matt Smith was. (ILU, Matt!) But srsly, Paterson Joseph would be an awesome Doctor, I firmly believe.

I would also not be averse to a female Doctor. (Shock! Horror! Gasp!)

BUT MOSTLY I'm okay with them casting people I've never heard of, it's worked well so far.
