time and relative dimension in space

I have almost completed my Pogues collection! ...okay, I'm still missing three albums. BUT. I have all their studio albums, half (that's one of two, yo) of their live albums, and four out of six of the compilations. Now I'm just missing The Ultimate Collection (Including Live at the Brixton Academy 2001), The Best Of The Pogues, and Dirty Old Town: The Platinum Collection.

...okay, I'm also missing the two EPs, but those are like impossible to find so I'm ignoring them for the moment.

I am making progress.

Once I finish my Pogues collection, I suppose I'll have to work on my Shane & the Popes collection, which is in a much less respectable state atm.

(Possibly my music addiction is getting out of hand...as of this posting, my iTunes music library boasts 73.99GBs...18809 songs...if I played it continuously it would take 46.6 days to listen to...guys, reassure me that other people packrat their music to the extent that I do? Tell me that your music counts are at least as high! Or nearly as high! Or something reassuring!

I only have an 8gb iPod. Do you know how hard it is to decide what to put on there? *pouts*)


Off that subject...

Oh! Also exciting: I completed my Ghostwriter collection! All of the original series! "Ghost Story" through "Attack Of The Slime Monster"! I haven't watched all of it yet, but I'm excited to have it there to watch, y'know? Yes, I'm a nostalgia dork. I don't care. It's so ridiculously awesome, with the dorky 90s urban fashion and slang and terrible SFX and all. Word.

Also, it's so much funnier watching the attempt at cosplay in "Am I Blue?" now than when I was a kid.

I just spent a ridiculous amount of time overhauling the tag system for fandomfrom3. The upshot is that it's way more organized now (and, for instance, there are now separate tags for Charlie Pace and Charlie Hume, which there weren't before). On the other hand it took for-freaking-ever and I don't think anybody but me will care.

Also, I realized that it was something like two and a half years ago that I promised to write The Trial Of Brendan Lahey. Oh, wow, I suck so much.


The Artist Arena refund finally arrived in my bank account, and I activated my new bank card, and I sent out a few more resumes into the ether. I have the most boring life everrrr, omg.

I think I have problems.

After tweaking my icons obsessively some more, I can now announce that, in my userpics, Doctor Who is best represented with 24 icons. LOST comes second with 21. Andromeda and The Black Donnellys tie for third with eleven each. All other fandoms are in the single digits.

Unless you count all the Broadway icons as representing one fandom instead of dividing it up by show, then Broadway tops the list with 34 icons.

45 distinct fandoms are represented, as well as a handful of miscellaneous nonfandom, bringing my current total of icons to 188.

Clearly my OCD is way out of hand when it comes to my LJ icons.

Before I go back to school (Jan 21st), I need to buy either a deck of playing cards or a Slinky. I'm not picky as to which. I also need to finally get around to upgrading the memory on my laptop, 'cause it's getting seriously annoying.

On Jan 8, I'm going for a job interview with Busch Gardens. I'm scared to bits over it. I've never really had a formal job interview, and while I know I'm qualified for a summer job as a stage technician at an amusement park, how exactly do I convince them of that? What do I say? What do I do?

In fandom news, I really seriously need to finish my Harper essay. I've got a good chunk of my hiatus_stories fic done, thanks in major part to shamelessly stealing a stylistic choice from a truly awesome Newsies fic, and need to finish that by Feb 1. I still have TTOBL to finish, and RV's Rommie/Harper fic. Plus, I'm trying to put together a Gus/Juliet picspam. YAY FANDOM. Am I forgetting anything?

Tomorrow I am going to make a chocolate pie. Also, I'm going to put up the unfinished beginning of a play I'm trying to write in here so that you guys can tell me if it sucks and I should stop wasting time on it.
