Possibly I just spent entirely too much time on Lostpedia figuring out when various LOST kids were born. Hey, did you know that Megan Pace, Clementine Ford, and Julian Carlson were all about the same age? Also, Ji Yeon Kwon and Charlie Hume are closer together in age than I thought they were.

Day 10 ♥ A show you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving
Dollhouse has to be the big one. Virtually nothing about the concept appealed to me, and I really had no interest in checking it out, but teh Niki wheedled me into it. First I got hooked on Topher, then Boyd caught my appreciation, then I fell for Sierra/Victor, then Adelle was all badass over the place, and then it went all cyberpunk, and by the end of the first season I was kind of head-over-heels for it. Which I did not expect. At all.

Day 03 ♥ Your Favorite New Series Episode
It's a tie between "Vincent and the Doctor" and "Smith and Jones" with honorable mentions going to "The Doctor's Daughter" for the fab Ten/Martha/Donna teamup, "Blink" for freaking me out, and "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" for Jaaaaaaaack. In WWII. With creepy gasmask kids.
"Smith and Jones" is one of the best companion-introduction stories ever. ("We might die." "We might not.") The alien threat is fairly clever. (Judoon! On the moon!) And Martha is completely ridiculously awesome. ("Are we trespassing on the moon?")
"Vincent and the Doctor" get massive, major points from me for its handling of mental illness, and even aside from that Amy and Vincent and Eleven have a fabulous chemistry with each other, the Rory mentions are well-done, and visually it's a gorgeous episode. But hell yes the mental illness issues are a major reason of why I rank it so high.
