Today:
- Our bathroom sinks have finally reached the point of being fixed. There are gaping holes in our kitchen ceiling, but the sinks work, so.
- I played a lot of Russian Solitaire. And lost a lot of Russian Solitaire. Russian Solitaire is hard, yo.
- I saw my Niki!!!! This is obv the most important item on this list. She brought her boy with her and we went to Muddy Waters and then to Bojangles and her boy got somewhat lost on the trip between "coffeehouse" and "food". And she gave me stuff which to make awesome cupcakes with and I gave her fudge and this shower curtain. Yay belated Christmas gifts!
...I miss my Niki. She needs to come see me more often. *hints loudly*
( icon meme 'cause I can )

Okay, so maybe I've been listening to Love Again on repeat far too much. IT IS A VERY CATCHY SONG. And maybe I have in fact despite my better intentions started making a DW vid to it. (If it turns out too similar to Forever, pssh, I just won't show it to anybody else then. Like when I make vids that suck. Easy solution!)
Today our landlords sent a handyman over to fix various stuff around the house that is Not Working, which regrettably meant that I had to, like, interact and talk to people and stuff like that. D: And will have to do it some more tomorrow because the bathroom sinks aren't fixed yet and need special equipment or something. But! The front door lock is working correctly now and the upstairs bathroom door closes properly and those are both positives, so, maybe it balances out?
...my asocial tendencies, let me show you them.
Otherwise, I've been mostly just playing MarioKart DS all day. Ohgodiamsoboring.

We're like the world's gayest ninjas.
Endway has a third album out? How did I not know this until ten minutes ago? (They're offering it for free on their website which is nice 'cause if they were selling it I really couldn't afford to buy it right now.)
(They're also offering their first two albums for free, apparently, which doesn't affect me since I already bought them quite a while ago but still. How do these guys make money?)
Maybe this will inspire me to get more work done on Better Than It Sounds! Or maybe it won't. Who knows. Still, shiny new musics by band I like!
Also shiny: new Being Human, which I have not seen yet, but I'm excited about seeing.
The little brother has returned to school, so. Secondary TV and BBC America access are no more. On the up side, I don't have to share my quiet time during the day any more!
...I'm not sure this entry makes any sense whatsoever. o.0

OKAY SO.
I'm here! Hi! I'm going to be answering comments as I can, but my connection kind of sucks, so I thought I'd try and get this up first.
I am in Maine, I am at the theater. Well, I'm not actually at the theater right now, I'm in my room. The theater is across the street. ANYWAY. I had a company dinner on Sunday and orientation-stuff and a welcome-you-guys-party yesterday and today was my first real day of work. It went pretty okay? We got more done than I thought we would; I shanghaied a few TAs, tech interns, and an actor to serve as my crew, and we managed to strike all of last year's light rep plot and get up a good chunk of this year's. There was only one major ladder accident and neither the crew nor the theater suffered any permanent damage. Still have two and a bit electrics, two side pipes, and assorted odds and ends to do. That's tomorrow's project, if I can throw together a crew.
Unexpectedly, I have a computer. We stayed at my aunt and uncle's place in Bath for Saturday night, and I was sort of whining at the world, as you do, about my laptop being in California and therefore useless to me, and my aunt recalled a desktop she had in storage that no one had used in like four years and graciously donated it to me. Okay it's a desktop and it's like five years old but IT'S A COMPUTER. It even has a wireless card. I'm not going to complain about anything. I have a computer and Internet, yayyy. (Although the Net connection, as previously mentioned, kind of sucks. I don't know if it's the local wireless or if it's this computer's card, but...yeah.)
I'm very tired and also kind of wired so I'm going to post this and go back to trying to pick through my flist.

Spent the past two days at teh Niki's. Very emotional. I miss her already. :( A lot going on.
Leaving on Thursday, spending tomorrow packing and laundrying and things of that nature. Start work on Sunday. Aaaahhhh. Still don't have Sally back.
Um. Working slowly backwards through the flist to check out everything I missed.
Oh, yeah, the Tonys. Thrilled by Karen and the HAiR tribe's wins. Pissed about Hunter and Raúl losing. Very much not happy about the Billy Elliot sweep, but not as pissed as I would be if it had been a Shrek or RoA sweep instead. (Although seriously? WEST END TRANSFER. The book, the orchestration, the set design, the lighting design, the choreography, it's all YEARS OLD. Why is it winning creative Tonys again?) Neil was a great host -- best laugh of the night was his dig at Piven, and the song at the end was amAHzing -- and N2N and HAiR and WSS had great performances.I wish they'd invited [tos] to perform. Also, Lin was adorable AS USUAL and I geeked out over Hunter and Jeff being ADORABLE.
I...don't know.
