BUT! There's a price. You must produce no fewer than 100 words on why you love another character in the same fandom. It doesn't need to be someone I'm all that familiar with, or even know at all. In other news, I finished my Christmas shopping today, bought the Freakishly Tall Boy a DVD. Once I get everything wrapped I shall have no more present-related things to think about. Would a mwahaha be inappropriate here?

I've been working on my Harper essay for idol_reflection and have gotten up to season three done. I'm having trouble motivating myself to cover Harper's character development in season four. This may be because Harper had no character development in season four, and season four makes me sad. But it's due on the 22nd and I should get it done...I could just, like, brush over season four dismissively, couldn't I? And then devote a ton of space to Coda and the novels and Seamus Harper Online and things, right?

Please to be telling my muse that it is inappropriate to be tempting me to write Newsies slash when I have things on deadlines, because he won't listen to me. *sulk*

Am impatiently waiting to see today's Torchwood. I don't actually know what's going on in today's Torchwood yet, but is TORCHWOOD and Captain Jack and Ianto and Tosh, so there.

Um.

Well, I'm back in North Carolina, which is sad, but I've got to cuddle my cat a lot and give my mom lots of hugs and tell my dad a really bad joke that made him laugh, so that's good. Also, pillows. The freakishly tall boy (a.k.a. my obnoxiously tall baby brother) is here as well; he needs a haircut and his taste in music is deteriorating. And I swear they're feeding him growth hormones at that school of his, he's grown at least another couple inches since summer.

Tomorrow me and my parents are headed to Raleigh to spend Thanksgiving with my sister; baby brother is spending it with his girlfriend, so he will not be coming with us.

I spent today sleeping in (oh, glorious sleep) and then watched an episode of Lost with my mom. It's our bonding activity. Oh, and I've been listening to my shiny new iPod, which makes me about six kinds of irrational happy. But it's very shiny and very small and I already love it lots. Yayy, I own an iPod. *bounce*

Niki is pissed at me for reasons which I'm sure make sense. If only I knew what they were.

In addition to my shiny new iPod, I have a shiny new-to-me-anyway mouse for my laptop, as baby brother bought himself a new one and donated his old one to me. I have bad luck with mouses for my laptop as I have tried two before and neither of them worked for more than fifteen seconds at a time, but this one works wonderfully.

On a whim, I joined the DW/Torchwood RPG at relativespace, which is proving to be amazingly fun and an entertaining way of procrastinating all the things I coulda-woulda-shoulda been doing.
