Fandom makes me wish I was rich. That is clearly not the only thing in fandom that makes me wish I was rich, but point stands, because omg. Shiny.

I need to buy a long coat eventually. Probably not that one because, again, money. But I really, really want a full-length coat.


Bathroom sinks are still not fixed, and now there's a busted pipe in the mix as well. This despite my best efforts at being not a snarling antisocial beast today. Will have to try not to be a snarling antisocial beast again tomorrow. OH JOY.


Currently happening in Better Than It Sounds: Liam is spreading rumors about himself by proxy in an attempt to convince the band's road crew that he is a vampire. It appears to be working. This is why I probably shouldn't write when I haven't slept properly in two or three days.

Finally back at home. The heat isn't back on yet but they're working on it (finally). I'm cold.

Also, it's pretending to snow outside!! I miss snow. Naturally, this being North Carolina, a ton of local school and business closed for the day as soon as the meteorologists said "sn--", despite the fact that it's just some flakes in the air and nothing's sticking anywhere. It's kind of amusing to watch people around here freak out at the slightest hint of the white stuff.

Writing to you all from the local cheap motel, where we've temporarily relocated after giving up on trying to relight the furnace or get in contact with the property managers. (Our property managers suck, BTW.) Rather than stay home and freeze, we rented a motel room for the night. Luckily they have free Internet access. And I do so love dear Sally, my laptop.

The dog is very confused.



Still burning up massive amounts of time on TVTropes. Currently on Crowning Moments of Awesome: Doctor Who which is basically a lovefest for Every Character Ever, and is therefore a CMoA in its own right. ♥
