The Kennedy Center is producing Chess with Raúl Esparza as Freddie opposite Karen Olivo as Florence and this is everything I've ever wanted from the Kennedy Center.

I felt the need to share this.

In related news, Karen Olivo released her first studio album to Kickstarter backers and it made me weep.

Karen Olivo will be playing Angelica Schuyler in the Chicago production of Hamilton.

I mean the odds that I will have the opportunity to attend this production are essentially 0%, but OH MY GOD I'M SO EXCITED.

"A Boy Like That", West Side Story. Anita is the only interesting character, it has the least threatening gangs ever, and the love story is just as unconvincing as the source material plus Maria doesn't even die at the end.
On the plus side, this version is sung by Karen Olivo, who as we've established I love to ridiculous degrees.
