And I'm never going to be a college undergrad again. :/ It's done. That part of my life is over. I have to be, like, an adult or something now. (Grad school, here I come! ...once I have the money, that is. Eeeugh.) It was really sad leaving everybody, I got hugged so many times I lost count...Steve made sure I was the one who locked everything up on Friday after work, and then he and Ashley and Melissa took me out to Wendy's for a goodbye-ice-cream, and then Saturday morning before I left Amanda and Jane and Natalie took me to breakfast and we all cried and hugged and said goodbye and swapped addresses and they gave me a scarf. I think everybody I saw in the last few days tried to emotionally blackmail into coming back for either Pippin or graduation.

I got stuff for my sister's Christmas present. Which means that all of my immediate family I have left to shop for is my kid brother. I also still have to pick up Teh Niki's gift, but I am fairly sure I know what I'm going to get her. Ys. it's just a question of getting to a store that has it.

I fly back to school tomorrow morning, bright and early. (Like dead early...like we're leaving the house at 4:30 early.) Drop my stuff off in my room, race straight to class, race straight from class to work...blech.

And hey, you know all that homework I was planning to get done over the break? Yeah, that didn't happen. *fails at life* Things what also were supposed to happen but didn't over break: finishing any of my fandom projects, checking out when I need to take my GREs, buying new jeans because most of mine are starting to fall apart.

Things what did happen over break: saw my Niki, bullied her boy into realizing that if he is ever not great to her I will kill him, slept, saw my sibs, angsted about school/work/life, cuddled my cat lots, figured out what I'm buying for a couple people on my Christmas list. (query: what exactly does "cooking gadgetry" entail? She appended this with "I already have a blender and a Crock-Pot", if that's any help at all.)


...my sister is here. She brought her dogs. Plural. Including her new Rottweiler Thalia who is very very dumb and has a foot fetish. Specifically, every time I walk anywhere I have a dog attempting to trip me up and eat my feet while I do it.


I'm not even going to talk about the new DW spoilers because I think I'd start ranting and I don't really have the time right now. *flails* *rants*

...so I totally suck and still have a bunch of e-mails and comments to reply to. But *flail*. I don't want to talk about how much flying home yesterday completely sucked. But it did. Biiiitches.

On the bright side, it snowed in Weston yesterday before I left, which was very nice and pretty and gives me hope that I'll get a decent snowstorm before I graduate.

UPDATE on the storage situation:

Rich is amenable to storing my stuff in the costume shop. Ashley offered to drive it down to the FAC 'cause it's raining buckets out there. So that's getting done around noon.

Also: Shakespeare final is done. I think I got a little sidetracked on the essay portion, ranting about my loathing for Desdemona, The Character That Wasn't. Well, whatever, what's done is done. And at least it was a fairly long essay.

Jean-Paul and I moved most of my junk out of the dorm today; he took it down to his mom's for summer storage. Things I forgot to include in this moving out: my TV and my crate full of lighting magazines.

Yes, I have a crate full of lighting magazines. That's not the point.

ETA: Also a bag and my bathroom caddy. *headdesk*. I suck.

Anyway, I have to find a place to store them for the summer 'cause I have no way of bringing them home with me and my aunt sure ain't coming back to get them.

I'm gonna see if Rich is open to being bribed, and if I can steal a corner of the costume closet for the summer maybe?


Arrgh. Anyway.

Junior Sem final is overrrrrr. Who cares how it went? Nobody, that's who. Two finals left to go: Shakespeare, tomorrow at 9AM, and then World Theatre, tomorrow at 1PM. Also tomorrow: finish packing my carry-ons, beg Rich to let me store junk in the costume shop, catch the school shuttle at 5PM, catch the Logan Express at 6PM, be at the airport by 7PM, catch my flight at 8PM...hopefully. With my luck it will be delayed 'til, like, midnight. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN, IRONY GODS, PLZ? Also eat sometime in there.
