Day 26 ♥ Your week, in great detail

...really? Let's see how much I remember:

Monday - I had a phone interview for a job. It was anticlimatic. Nevertheless I spent the rest of the day recovering from it.
Tuesday - It was my dad's birthday. I made a cake. It fell apart. My mom and I went up to the grocery store and got a storebought replacement. However after dinner we wound up eating the cake I made instead because despite having fallen apart it was still a lot yummier than the store-bought one. Also, 'What They Died For' aired that night.
Wednesday - spent it with teh Niki. She had a jewelry party. I think she only invited me because she needed another warm body there.
Thursday - ...I don't remember doing anything of note.
Friday - Again, I don't remember doing anything of note. I think I watched last week's 'Glee' then, but aside from that...nada.
Saturday - ...nothing. Are you getting the picture? :| I watched 'The Hungry Earth'. I think that was it.
Sunday - the big LOST series finale day. It was stressful. See yesterday's entries for details.
Monday (today) - I...did laundry?

YOU GUYS. I have the most boring life in existence. I'm pretty sure the next two days of this meme are only going to drive that point home even more for you.

Day 27 → This month, in great detail

Sunday: Small children screamed, literally SCREAMED when Mickey Rourke was explaining his terribad hate for Robert Downey Jr in Iron Man 2. Thus while I enjoyed the film immensely, I had no clue why they were all shooting each other and why Sam Rockwell was even there at all.

Monday: Nearly had panic attack over train back to uni. Realised my iPhone has lost the ability to function properly as an iPod.

Tuesday: Almost got suspended from uni for asking if I could use my iPhone's calculator in an exam... because I was told it was computer exam and it was written. Felt guilty in exam again. Ordered a 20 inch pizza from domino's to counter my growing depression. Omnomnomnom.

Wednesday: Actually had a panic attack. Not fun, also someone ate my anchovies. InsomniaInsomniaInsomnia. It was at 4am that I realised I hadn't actually spoken since Sunday.

Thursday: Had another panic attack over waking up late for an exam. Got yelled at in front of my entire year group for 'not putting my phone in my bag' (I didn't have one) despite the fact that learning difficulty students are supposed to hand their phones to a designated individual. Sat in exam feeling more guilty than usual about being classed as having learning difficulties when all I have is dyslexia and the guy next to me was quadriplegic.

Went back to flat only go get screamed at my housemate for not answering her demands to clean the sink. Apparently being out and locked in an exam room is not sufficient excuse for not answering her wails. Her boyfriend tried to kick my door down again... did actually laugh at him due to the fact that all the doors here are reinforced fire doors with steel cores.

Friday: I can't see the future, but I suspect it will be shit.

The point of what I wrote isn't to induce sympathy or make light of what you consider to be bad.

I just wanted to point out that in the grand scheme of things, you got it pretty good :) <3.

I don't really consider my life to be bad at the moment. Boring, yes. And I desperately need employment. But not bad. I know I've got it pretty good in the grand scheme.

*snugs you* I'm sorry things are sucking for you right now.

*snuggles back* ty, I'm fixing things, but it's a long term fix :(

You're vastly more employable than I am if that helps?

Trouble is with me is that while I'm rather sort of brilliant with computers, India is churning out millions with identical qualifications on paper who cost 1/3 of me.

I don't see India mass producing millions of Chica's who... okay I have no idea what to call what you do but it's awesome and very impressive :D *respect*

Also, I just watched Time Crash again and now plan to use the line 'rather sort of brilliant' a LOT more.

It's a good line!

I'm a master electrician? Which basically means that there are far more people equally or more qualified for the position (often with more professional experience than me as well) for very few jobs.

Especially in this economy, non-Equity theaters are shutting down left and right. :(

Eventually, we will BOTH get good jobs and...something. I don't know, something will follow on the heels of that.

*snugs*
