Unrelated, I got first feedback back from beta about mylgbtfest Glee fic, yayyy. Apparently I have good Puck and Rachel voices, which amuses me for inexplicable reasons. I have to get the new edited draft back to her, btw. Should do that now.
Also speaking of which, I really, really need to finish my first draft of my DW fic forlgbtfest, which is suffering from my usual problem of me having no clear idea of how it's meant to end. YAY ME.

Not really 'clearer', no...but it worked for me?
I have no idea how it will affect your paid time. If your account is set to expire in the middle of the time you'd be buying, it might request that you renew your account for whatever amount of time. Or it might not. I have no clue.
It's really really badly explained in the announcements. :/
If your account is set to expire in the middle of the time you'd be buying, I'd say hold off on buying more userpics until LJ says something about it. Just because a few people have been complaining in the announcement post comments that they got screwed.
