This is pretty wonderful.

M*A*S*H has always been a big part of my life. My dad was and is a big fan, and I was watching the show before I was old enough to really understand what I was watching, and I have to say it likely helped shape a lot of the ways I look at the world. "Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler?" is an episode that has always stayed with me very strongly; particularly the following exchange:
"Tell me, is it true that God answers all prayers?"
"Yes. But sometimes the answer is 'no'."

I'm not into Mash and such...but what is this Animorphs radio drama?

I am always glad to pimp out ARD.

Basically what it is, is these three guys got a two-hour weekly slot at their college radio station and elected to be utter dorks and do dramatic readings of the Animorphs books. They read the books out loud, complete with voices, awkward accents, extensive commentary, and utterly bizarre conversational tangents. It's kind of amazing, where "kind of" means "really".

They have a website, animorphs-uncensored.com, where they put up .mp3s of their shows. And it's the best thing ever. I recommend checking it out.

You've just changed my life.

This begins a new age in my life. There was the time before ARD. And now there's the time after. And the time after is much happier.

However, I might flunk my Shakespeare midterm tomorrow.

There is a similar division in my life. I look back at the days when I did not know about ARD, and I am amazed that I managed to survive.

However, I might flunk my Shakespeare midterm tomorrow.

A handy reminder of why I'm glad I didn't stumble upon these boys until recently. I would never have gotten any homework done, ever.

Kay, so I never really got into Animorphs, but I'm gonna have to check out this Animorphs radio drama thing. Sounds pretty amazing.

Love the MASH quote, too.

Even if you're just listening to hear the guys geek out and act like dorks, it's totally worth it. ♥

<3 It's one of my favorites.

I downloaded the three parts of the first book. I'm not sure when I'll be able to listen to them, but if I can put them on my iPod, I can listen to them away from my computer.

That's what I do, generally; put a book at a time on my iPod and listen to it while doing other things. It makes a great accompaniment.

Like housework. I do find myself needing some way to get through housework.

How did you guess my evil plot? *shifty*

It's basically the only way I get basic chores done, tbh.

Well I listened to about half an hour so far. I couldn't listen to it while I was vacuuming, though.

Anyway, hilarious so far.
