So, I'm caught up on Heroes now, and, uh...heartbreak. Yeah. Pure heartbreak. I WANT TO WATCH THE NEXT EPISODE, PLZKTHNX.
I need to make a Hiro/Charlie icon.
I've also gotten caught up on Torchwood. PRETTY. I know "Greeks Bearing Gifts" got knocked a lot by the online contingent, but PRETTY. I'm shallow, sue me.
...um.
stormchild03 and
natta_valentine, your Christmas gifts are in the mail. Well, Stormchild's are addressed to her daughters, but that counts too, right? Sio has received hers. *bounce* Shea, I'm waiting on part of yours, but hopefully it'll be in the mail by this Wednesday.
morgeil, I have part of a major batch of Sliders icons. That should be finished soon. Hopefully. And then I will post them and give you a link and I hope you like them.
If anybody has a wishlist posted and isn't certain I've seen it, now's the time to let me know!
My RL Christmas shopping is almost done. Except for my baby brother. Anybody have any idea of what to get a too-tall almost-18-year-old with bad taste in music? He works as a techie in the theatre at his school, too, only he gets paid more than I do ($25 an hour opposed to my $8.50 an hour) and he knows a ton less about his work than I do (he doesn't know what an electric is, WTFmate). He likes math and he's too invested in his girlfriend and he goes to school in Maryland and we don't really talk all that much. I don't know what to get him. At Thanksgiving he gave me the name of a CD and the name of a DVD, but damned if I remember either one now.
Niki, you're getting your present on the 15th, and you'd better love it. :D Also I can't wait to see you. Ys.
I have an oral interp project due Monday, and I haven't started the paperwork yet. HAHA I ROCK. The Glee Club Christmas Concert's this weekend, and I'm calling the show and running rail, so time ain't on my side, and I really should be working on it now but I just can't find the energy. It'll get done.Probably.
So that's my Oral Interp final, the project due Monday. Musical Theatre and Tech Theatre midterms are both on Wednesday, which is again one of those HAHA I ROCK panic moments. Except not, because I know tech theatre like the back of my hand, I've done it long enough, and Steve knows I know it, and I'll do fine on the final. Hopefully. Also, Musical Theatre will be a presentation of a scene from Little Shop of Horrors, and I know that like the back of my hand, too, and also I think my group's getting some slack cut for us because we switched scenes at the last minute due to the impossibility of finding sheet music for our first choice.
Photography final project is due Tuesday. I'm done with it, but terribly nervous about how it'll be received.Especially because my portraits sucked. A bunch of people complimented me on my third print when I was in the darkroom working on it, so maybe it'll be okay? But the same people also mocked my use of the word "y'all", so who knows.
Midsummer has been cast. I'm not completely thrilled by the cast list, but it's cool; while I don't agree with all the choices, I can live with them, and I get along with everybody, so it should be less stressful than if the cast consisted of people who piss me off all the time. Readthrough is on Monday.
And I fly home on Friday. *bounce*
I don't seem to be getting any writing done, which is terribly sad, as I have to write my fics for
lost_hohoho and
hiatus_stories, and I need to finish TTOBL and RV's Harper/Rommie fic, and also I have my
ot3_100 and
over_look claims, and I have a craving to write Isaac fic and Tosh fic. *pout*
In totally random news, my roommate and I were browsing the Disney channel schedule and discovered that Dave the Barbarian will be on tonight. Which I haven't seen in, like, years. And I can still remember the theme song. I should be embarassed about that, but I'm not. I remember it as a wonderfully cracky cartoon, and I think I'll stay up to watch it. JUST BECAUSE.
ETA: And I meant to point out that I've fallen madly in love with Spot Conlon of Newsies. 'Cause he's beautiful and kickass.
"We ain't afraid of Brooklyn...Spot Conlon makes us a little nervous."
