I'm still not completely sure how I feel about it! I'm about eighty percent confident I liked it, though.

Longer post coming when I've had more time to think this over and rewatch it, like, seven times, probably, but, man, for an episode that's like 93% exposition there's a lot of there there, isn't there? *flails a bit* The Chibnall Masterplan indeed! and there's nothing that says Jo Martin isn't a 6B!Doctor so there SO MUCH LORE. I've never been a fan of The Doctor Is Special Because Of Backstory, I like The Doctor Is Special Because Babs And Ian Taught Them How To Be A Decent Person And They Decided To Keep Doing It, but I'm not completely opposed to the way this played out? Having it be, yes, The Doctor Is Special Because Of Backstory But Also The Doctor Does Not Remember That Backstory And Is Therefore Also Special Because Of Babs And Ian works for me. And there's so much SPACE for SO MUCH, the Big Finish writers must be DANCING WITH GLEE.
