chicafrom3Between "everything is beautiful at the ballet" and "as long as the lady's paying, take the vicuna," I was very pleased by the subtler musical theatre references in this episode.
OMG WE HAD THE FULL CAST THIS EPISODE. All four girls! Michelle and Fanny! Did they find more money in the budget somewhere?
Also, I'm not imagining things, am I? They really are playing out the Ginny/Melanie/Cozette thing like a love triangle? Because those were some serious love-triangle vibes there. I maybe have shipper goggles on, but that seemed really blatant to me!
Also also, I really love the way they're developing Michelle's relationship with Sasha. It's so cute, omg, and Sasha really wants to be a great dancer to make Michelle proud and Michelle doesn't know how to deal with that and *flail* it almost makes up for how much I'm starting to dislike Basketball-Playing Eyeliner-Wearing Dude Sasha Flirts With WTF Is His Name.
One really great thing about the Millie Stone plotline: we get to see way more dancing than usual. THAT MAKES ME HAPPY. Also Fanny's reaction to Millie's "notes session".
