POINT THE FIRST: I am so Neil Gaiman's target demographic. NEIL. I WANT TO MARRY YOUR BRAIIIIIIIN. I am so very much in love with how this felt both like a Doctor Who episode and like something Neil wrote and OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

She calls him her thief and he calls her sexy and there is kissing and biting and pouncing and mocking of each other and they stole each other and THEIR LOVE IS SO TIMELESS and ohhhhhhhhh this episode hit my Doctor/TARDIS place so hard and so wonderfully I can't even come up with words except "Where is my thief" !!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Speaking of which I know this episode was originally written for last season during Rory's nonexistence phase and yet I have absolutely no clue how that would have worked because he is so integral to the episode as aired. And provides so many lovely moments. And it would be so much a weaker episode without him.

AND AMY'S MENTAL IMAGE OF DELIGHT IS HER WEDDING DAY

GOD YOU GUYS AMY AND RORY SPENT A SIGNIFICANT CHUNK OF THIS EPISODE RUNNING AROUND THE TARDIS CORRIDORS and while I would have preferred that we spent some time in Other Rooms (library? bedrooms? ANYTHING) just seeing those corridors made me feel all warm and fuzzy and then the RTD-era console room and ohhhhh I am getting all giggly over it all over again as soon as I finish writing this post I am going to WATCH IT AGAIN

I thought I was done flailing over Doctor/TARDIS but I'M NOT. Amy ships them so much "Did you wish really hard?" and "Is my name Sexy?" "That is so your name" and "You're not exactly reliable! You didn't always take me where I wanted to go!" "No, but I always took you where you needed to be!" and how they stop in the middle of a high-risk situation to gush about how they can talk to each other and I HAVE SO MUCH FLAIL AND SQUEE

The House's mindfuck on Amy was done really well. Very creepy, and the cuts between what Amy's perceiving and what Rory is work fantastically. So creepy. And I could LOL here about how they killed Rory again but I won't. Except for how I just did.

Woo, boy, I just literally finished this ep a few minutes ago and I just... ♥_♥

I mean, you know I ship Nine/Rose, Ten/Donna and Eleven/River (because I'm pedestrian in that way ;) what can I say?) but Doctor/TARDIS is definitely the canon ship of the show, no doubt! And you know what? I totally ship it, too. Look at how HAPPY they are together! How could anybody not want to draw hearts around that?

And were my ears deceiving me or as Idris' body was fading away that final time, after he said, "Please, I don't want you to..." (ZOMG, Matt, kill me with your teary eyes and wibbly voice, why don't you??? *sobs*), did she say, "I love you," because I could've sworn that's what I heard. Or it was my Inner Shipper hearing what she wanted to hear? ;)

(And for cryin' out loud, Doctor, if there's ANYBODY you can say "I love you" back to, it would be THE TARDIS! Aka Sexy. *giggles* ;) )

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TARDIS/Doctor 4EVA!!!!! That was also essentially what I took away from this episode. Also how it was quintessentially Neil Gaiman and Doctor Who at the same time. Obviously those are two great tastes that taste great together!!!

This episode was amazing...and it made me cry. Just how heartbroken the Doctor was over losing the ability to TRULY communicate with his Tardis and the woobie face he made just kinda broke me.

But yeah...this makes up for last week's kinda EH episode.

And what the Tardis told Rory at the end...C'MON! It's totes about River Song!

I do too now that it's been made heartbreakingly obvious just how much Amy loves Rory...I mean last series kinda had moments where you just were left wondering but this season...sheesh...they desperately need that happily ever after.
