* My dad now has a Facebook. I'm not sure I'm okay with this.
* Some news about the DVD extras on the LOST S6 boxset. It's GOOD news. I hope it's true.
* I want to be able to write. ...specifically, I want to be able to finish that
lgbtfest fic that's due in early June. */fails*
* I did stuff today! I even went down to the bank to deposit $22 in loose change. And then was informed that they don't take loose change, it has to be rolled, and was sent home with a set of coin rolls. So the money will actually get deposited tomorrow. (Also, my parents have given me permission to dig through their coin jar to fill out the rolls I'm short on, so that's something.)
* ...I really, really need a job.
* Okay, the meme.
Day 28 ♥ This year, in great detail
Is this meant to be 'this year' in the sense of 2010 or 'this year' in the sense of the past twelve months?
IDK, I'm going to go with the latter.
In the last twelve months, I: held a summer job as an ME for a rep theater in Maine; made a bunch of friends (and by 'a bunch' I mean, like...two); spent some time in Boston; became unemployed again; discovered that I would be becoming an aunt (THIS EVENT IS LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY and i mean really wtf); participated in NaNoWriMo for the first time, and won, although shortly after November was over the story stalled out and I have only added about 5000 words to it since NaNo (it still needs another, like, 10,000 words at least to actually be complete, never mind editing); sent out a bunch of resumes, including to the NYMTF; heard nothing back; spent not nearly enough time with my Niki; fulfilled a lifetime want by going (with my Niki!) to see Evil Dead: The Musical on Halloween while wearing white T-shirts and sitting front and center Splatter Zone; said goodbye to a show that I'd been dedicated to for six years; was incredibly lazy a lot of the time.
And probably some other stuff that I don't remember.
Day 29 → Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days
...Hey, wasn't this meant to be a 30-day meme? What happened to Day 30?

Also, I'm very sympathetic on the not-writing front. Unfortunately I don't have any sage advice to offer. Just commiseration.

Someday someone will invent a cure for writers' block. And it will probably have terrible side effects.
