Moar Strikethrough/Boldgate Links:
How utterly tacky of the staff.
LJ-SEC, for mass-exporting LiveJournal entries into other journaling sites.
ardath_rekha explains the problem clearly and concisely.
Okay, guys, I used LJ-SEC to mirror this journal over at GreatestJournal, as a precaution, and I'm going to try and keep them synched up. You can find me over there at chicafrom3.greatestjournal.com. I''ve also set up an account at InsaneJournal and can be found at chicafrom3.insanejournal.com and am working on getting it synched up as a mirror, and then I'm going to see if I can get
fandomfrom3 mirrored both places.
I don't want to leave LJ. The idiocy of the 6A/LJ team aside, I've met a lot of great people here (that's you guys, BTW). I have 91 people on my friendslist and 393 communities that I watch. I feel comfortable posting here and sharing things with you and bonding over the awesomeness that is fandom, whatever that fandom may be. But Six Apart has totally lost it. If fandom migrates, I'll migrate with it, wherever that ends up being.
And a message to the 6A/LJ team: If you want people to calm down and stop overreacting? Then freaking deal with what you did. Twisting your fingers in your ears and shouting "LA LA LA" and "SAME TO YOU" and pretending like we're the problem for being upset over your arbitrary and unjust behavior isn't doing anything but making you look like a bunch of total jerks and assholes.
