Well, so. I have a state ID now. I can prove I am who I say I am. Even though the picture doesn't look anything like me. But whatever. It expires in 2015 which gives me lots of time to figure out what to do once it expires.

After I got my ID the freakishly tall boy (a.k.a. my kid brother JP) and I drove all over town to get cards and presents and a cake for our mom whose birthday is today. Then JP realized he has to start packing because he leaves for college tomorrow, so instead of packing he drove down to see his girlfriend. Somehow this passes for logic in his brain. I don't know.
