I LOVE MILES. So much. So so much. He was so on tonight, every moment he was onscreen was gold. ("You're free to leave at anytime. But I'll shoot you in the leg." "Hey, ask me more questions about time travel.") The temporal theory scene with Hurley was brilliant -- except Hurley's usually more genre savvy than that and it threw me.

I'll admit it. When the chick in the grocery store turned around and it wasn't Kate, I was disappointed. Nay, devastated. I was totally expecting a ghost moment.

I'm sad we only got a couple seconds of Clementine. She's adorable. (Also, all those Aaron&Clementine (or Aaron/Clementine) futurefics suddenly have so much more canon support!) The Cassidy/Kate stuff was cute.

Best possible explanation for where Kate left Aaron. I dig Claire's mom even though we still don't have an explanation for when and how she came out of the coma. I am very hopeful that all this is meant to be foreshadowing alive!Claire coming back next season. THAT WOULD MAKE CHICA HAPPY.

Ben's WTFLOCKE face at the end was wonderful.

Richard Alpert continues to be an intriguing mix of bizarre, guyliner!cute, and creepy. My mind went to an inappropriate place at "He'll have lost his innocence". I'm not sure it was entirely unintentional on their part.

I missed Sun and Frank. And when are we gonna see the lovely Hume family again? I MISS THEM. Less love rectangle, more Hume-Widmores, plz.

I want Miles and Hurley to have their own talk show in which they discuss random mind-bendy things all the time! It would be like the View but better.

Also, when Miles said that time was no longer moving in a straight line I almost said something about wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff before I realized no one in the room would have any idea what I was talking about.

He's so snarky and...I don't know, how would you describe someone who in a fit of pique hands his gun to the other guy and goes "Shoot me"?

He would be so pissed off at all of them. And also very interested in the Island itself.

I believe the correct adjective to describe a person like that is "awesome".

I now have the Doctor running around on the Island waving his sonic screwdriver at things. It would be like one of those old school episodes where he gets caught up with the side that he thinks are the good guys only to discover they're in fact the villains. But with the Others and Dharma. I am way too excited by this idea.

And he could confront the smoke monster! And explain what it is in that wonderfully vague scientific but really more fantastical sort of way.
