I wanna see the kinds of conspiracy theories people in the Lostverse will be throwing around after the Ajira 316 crash. "Two planes crashed with these five people on board, does anyone really think this is a coincidence?"
Also, Frank will never not be too awesome for words. I love how calm he is about the crash, and how he doesn't point out to his copilot "Dude, you're unobservant, all of the O6 are on our flight, and we are quite clearly never going to make it to Guam." The set of his face when he's trying desperately to get them to a safe-ish landing... *loves*
Some unexpected payoff for the runway.
Cesar's mustache kind of freaks me out.
Ben's shell-shocked "How would I know?" was a bit awesome, ys.
Also I love the "Thirty Years Earlier" title card. I mean, it's accurate and it's also a nod to how WTF this show is.
Also this show has some of the best bff-glomps ever. The Sawyer/Hurley was adorkable. "I actually missed that." I wish we got a Sayid/Jin glomp, though.
Zuleikha Robinson and Yunjin Kim in a scene together is almost too much pretty. But I am not complaining.
Amy's adorable. I'm not sure I mentioned that two weeks ago. And we have payoff! Ethan's mom. Ethan did not come by his creepiness honestly.
Jack, Kate, and Hurley are surprisingly adorable in 70s duds.
Seriously, Yunjin is so pretty. How is it possible to be that pretty? Also, Sun & Frank: new Best Teamup Around or what? With their combined powers of AWESOME, they will CUT YOU BITCH.And I want her jacket.
The return of Marvin Candle/Mark Wickman/Pierre Chang. "Based on your aptitude test, you'll be doing janitorial work." ILU DR. CHANG FOR YOUR SNARKTASTICNESS TO JACK.
Why would Kate give her real name? Does she really not realize what a dumb move that is? She's smarter than that! I'm not even a Kate fan and I think she's smarter than that! And then he calls her on it and she doesn't even try to talk her way out of it, just stands there going "Ummm..."! Also I am not at all involved in the shipping drama but I dug the subtle sarcasm in Juliet reintroducing herself.
Sawyer trying desperately to convey to Sayid what he needs to do to save himself is remarkably endearing.
The return of Christian Shephard! If that is indeed who he is. Is Christian the representation of Jacob on the Island? Or is he Jacob's opposite? Or is he working with Jacob? Or something else entirely? I have no idea. DON'T TRUST HIM U GAIZ.
"What are you talking about? What friends?" I like the way that's done, like you can't quite tell whether she's asking which friends he's talking about or saying wtf I have no friends. The horror-movie elements in that scene might've been just slightly overdone.
Really nice, subtle acting in the scene between Josh and Naveen in the cell scene.
"I'm working on it." "Really? 'Cause it looked to me like you were reading a book."
The return of baby!Ben. Hee. Well, that's one way of setting up astable time loop.
In conclusion: I could do without the Love Rectangle Of Dooooom stuff. But Frank Lapidus is More Awesome Than You and you would do well to remember it.
Also, because of fandomsecrets, now whenever anybody tells me they've quit watching LOST, I'm going to ask if it was because of the aliens. And the more commercials I see for "The Unusuals" the more convinced I am I'll at least try to get into it.

I just think it's funny. I admittedly have a weird sense of humor.
So, did you quit watching because of the aliens?
(Also, some of the new characters are lovely. They focus on the Love Rectangle Of Dooom too much, but Sun and Jin and Sayid and Hurley still get major plotlines, and I very much adore Desmond, Penny, Frank, Miles, and Dan. And Walt randomly pops up once in a while, which amuses me.)

I did see Sun knock out Ben last night, and the other guy said "I thought you trusted him." and Sun said "I lied." That was pretty awesome. But generally I just don't enjoy the show anymore. I sort of didn't mind Jack and Kate in the beginning, but I kind of hate them now, because they got so much attention (and I thought other characters were more interesting). I also really liked the format of the first season or so... each episode centering around one character with flashbacks.

That's totally legitimate, and do I ever feel you on not liking Jack and Kate at all anymore. To the point where I get a sick glee out of watching the show knock 'em down. Like Jack being told that due to his aptitude tests, he's getting a job as a janitor. That was awesome. FU, Jack.
I miss the flashback format. :(

Haha ah yes, sick glee. That does make it much more enjoyable.

Don't even think it! That would be like the worst case scenario, omg. Awful.

Yay for Hurley/Sawyer glomping. And Hurly being adorable and normal when no one else can manage it. This episode was full of all sorts of snarky win.
I continue to be a huge fan of Frank--and am a little distressed by how pleased I am that he's getting a little rough around the edges again.

I have a theory that there's a direct correlation between Frank's levels of Awesome Win and his scruff. 'Cause, omg, so much fun when he's all scruffy.
