I have more or less been promoted to "healthy enough to use computer extensively". Woohoo! We'll see if this lasts.
Yesterday was the low point, though. Specifically, the bit of yesterday where I fainted (for only the second time in my memory) while walking downstairs. Spent most of the day in bed, got up to use the bathroom, one minute I'm slowly making my way back to bed and the next I'm on my back at the bottom of the stairs with my parents freaking out and wondering if they should take me to a hospital. (They didn't. We decided that it was most likely a combination of NyQuil, dehydration, and not having eaten anything in over a day.) Moments like that make me glad not to live alone. Having slept a lot, been forced to drink a few quarts of orange juice, and actually having eaten things that could qualify as meals, I am now well enough to walk up and down the stairs with no ill effects. Symptoms have been downgraded to snuffliness and earache and a ridiculous amount of coughing, which is way improved and I very glad to be able to be out of bed for extended periods. Bedrest is boring and I have a limited attention span.
[/TMI] Back to your regularly scheduled insanity.
