...I miss when the A and B plots were actually related. And Lassiter and Juliet would actually be involved in Shawn and Gus's investigation.
But, whatever. That aside:
Maggie Dawson is TOO ADORABLE for words. ♥ Especially when she's being all badass. She's just so cute!
Gus and Shawn posing as brothers. Hee. :D
And Henry as their grandfather, fitting in way too well, and competing with them to see who could solve the case first! I loved them blindsiding him with Plan B, and Gus's snarking about "It's fun when it's not happening to me!"
Shawn posing as a doctor was...amusing but it made me uncomfortable? I'm not sure why. Maybe because he seemed so totally at a loss and it was out of character. Because, yeah, he's a slacker and he skates by and so forth, but he's bright enough to know what it means when somebody's blood pressure dropped and they suffered contusions, or whatever the diagnosis was. It bothered me, I don't know.
KAREN. There was not enough of her this episode, but what there was I spent going OMG I LOVE YOU.
Best bit of the episode: Shawn, Gus, and Henry fleeing the retirement community because their cover was three seconds away from being blown. BRILLIANT.
In short: I enjoyed it, and will probably watch it again soon.

Ten Things I Love
1.
nikiness...well, duh. Obviously. She's my nonsexual life partner and bestest friend ever!
2. Shane MacGowan. Specifically, Shane MacGowan's music. It just makes me happy, even when it's angry- or sad-making songs.
3. My cat, Thomas, who spent today apparently thinking that the best way to cure my vague illness was to lie on my chest with his head buried in my eye socket. Uncomfortable? Yes. Ridiculously cute and makes me love him even more? Yes.
4. New books!
5. Broadway and Off-Broadway and West End musicals. Yes, all of them. Yes, even that one.
6. Chess, which is technically a West End musical, a Broadway musical, and an Off-Broadway musical, but whatever, it deserves its own notation just for the sheer amount of glee it instills in me.
7. Fandom in general, even when it pisses me off by being stupid.
8. Being able to write. Which, I can't seem to right now, but when I can, it makes me so incredibly happy.
9. Opening night.
10. Clever writing in television/movies -- Pushing Daisies is winning on this score right now, but I can point to almost all my TV/movie fandoms for examples.
...in other news, I'm dying to see Cloverfield. J.J. Abrams + Michael Stahl-David + monster flick = Chica's idea of an awesome movie. And pretty much my entire friendslist is squeeing about it right now. So, yeah, I gotta get to a movie theatre and see this.

Psych was lovely as ever though. My favorite moment:
Shawn: It's the date of the Santa Barbara marathon.
Henry: And how would you know that?
Shawn: Because it's the same day as Val Kilmer's birthday! xD

Heeee. I love Shawn's completely random associations. ♥

We just finished watching this on the PVR. I love it when Henry takes part in the investigations. XD
And am I the only one that kinda ships Juliet/Lassiter? Oh... okay. Me and partner fraternization, I swear.no subject
I can totally see Juliet/Lassiter! I just...happen to ship Juliet/Gus. *cough* But, no, I think right now the writers are shipping Juliet/Lassiter, especially with that whole peaches thing and Lassiter overreacting about "She is NOT hot!" And it's really cute. XD
