I have a job interview tomorrow morning so this post is regrettably short.
But that was amazing, wasn't it? (I'd say fantastic but I don't want to drive a joke into the ground. Wait, too late.)
In contrast to Ravagers, this got Nine's voice exactly right all the way through -- there was no café scene throwing me out of the immersion. Just pure, unfiltered Doctor. I'm going to be listening to it again as soon as possible.
Of the three stories, Planet of the End was my favorite (Fred! I loved Fred so much. Can she come back in the future? Can we have more Nine and Fred adventures?) but they were all wonderful. Girl, Deconstructed was properly eerie and I loved both Jana and Marnie (and Jana broke my heart at the end) and Fright Motif had really lovely underlying ideas about music and art (and, again, a bit heartbreaking).
I loved Ravagers, but this is a step up; both incredible performances and wonderful scripts. A+
