I'm writing this to you from my Sidekick but I don't have much time I've got. I'm trying to move fast and save my battery life. The last time I heard anything they'd spread all the way up to Blacksburg. I don't know how much farther they've gotten... this was hours ago.
I'm safe, I think. For now. I'm moving South. I got as far as the Border Station before my car ran out of gas. That place was covered with them, so I left the car and I've been on foot ever since. It's hard to tell you exactly where I'm at because I don't know. I've been trying to keep off of the main roads.
I've got to go, I hear something. I'll talk to you soon, I hope. Maybe I'll see you even sooner.
