BEST EPISODE OF THE SEASON.
"Thank God no more Les Mis."
SETH RUDETSKY! Playing himself, which made me grin even more!
But, no, the reason this is the best episode to date is because as anxious as the girls are about Michelle leaving, they are equally excited about her audition, cheering her on every step, offering her advice she can't hear. (Sasha's hissed "suck in your stomach!" That was the cutest thing ever.)
And Boo's impulse decision to sneak into the audition and her rant at Sasha when she wasn't allowed! ALSO THE CUTEST THING EVER.
Michelle not getting the part because the choreographer wasn't interested in finding new dancers was a copout. I actually wish they'd written it as her getting the part and then having to decide between Broadway and being a teacher.
Scotty running all over doing errands for Fanny was adorable. Are they setting up a Truly/Scotty/Millie triangle?
TRULY: "He's cute ... he kind of looks like her."
Hmm. Well, then, Truly.
I'm so glad they didn't drag out the "girls decide to have sex" storyline. Fanny's sex ed class was a very Bunheads way of resolving that. "Name your bananas. Name it anything you like, but a name you have positive feelings for."
And then the Ginny/Frankie confession scene broke my heart. Oh my God. That was devastating. Bailey Buntain, you deserve awards that you won't get because this is an ABC Family show. "He was just so beautiful..."
How do you end a season on that note? D:
