2. I'd never thought about the fact that there wasn't a Walt-centric episode before. Now this seems like a grievous error.
4. I miss old school LOST so much. Back when their problems were manageable and made sense. Back when they were characters instead of plot devices. I mean, like you said, this was really the only way for it to go, but still.
5a. WHY DID THEY KILL ALL THE TAILIES?! I'm still irrationally upset about this years later. If they're going to put all this work into introducing new characters they really should have had some sort of purpose. (Also, retrospectively I love Ana-Lucia.)
