Today my dad and I went down to watch the local Christmas parade at the waterfront, as we do most years, and as happens most years, I remembered why our local Christmas parade is intensely dull. There's free candy canes, though.

We also got the Christmas tree up, so the holiday season is officially started here. Which means I really need to get started on Christmas shopping ...
