I has a new jacket.

It is not actually new -- my dad thinks it was new in maybe '93? Which is a little disappointing because he first thought it was new in maybe '84, in which case it would be older than me, but not disappointing enough for me to not take it -- anyway, it is not actually new but it's new to me. It used to be my dad's but apparently it hasn't fit him properly since it was new. So when I happened to mention to him the Army-surplus aviator's jacket I had in high school (which I kind of miss), he remembered this jacket (which is a Navy aviator's jacket still featuring all his old Navy patches, including his rank and the ship he was serving on) and dug it out and I tried it on and it fit and now it's mine and I kind of love it a lot.
