Hallo to all the new people on my flist from the various friending memes going around! *waves*
The Thing To Do seems to be to post an introduction to clear up who various people I will talk about are, but, er. The only one you really need to know is that Teh Niki is my nonsexual life partner, a.k.a. my best friend since we were very small and I talk about her lots. When I talk about anyone else in my real life there will probably be a descriptor attached so you can figure out their relationship to me.
In non-friending-meme-related news. I spent last night reorganizing all the music on my hard drive and cleaning up my iTunes. Deleting doubles of files and things I don't listen to and stuff like that. *flails a bit* I went from 15GB of music to 13.34GB. Which I guess is a good thing given that it gives me more room to expand my collection in the future.
iTunes tells me that I have 3782 songs and it would take over eight days to listen to all the music I have. 1433 of those songs are cast recordings; 459 are country; 195 are classed as "Irish Punk". Weirdly, I thought I had more Irish punk than that. And that's completely without the various radio plays, audiobooks, and other non-music-audio-files that I own. *flails some more* Instead of trying I've just put Ella Fitzgerald on a loop 'cause I'm in a jazz mood.
It is officially hurricane season, so the weather's going crazy.
And finally...I remain unemployed and running out of money. Woe, etc.
