Happy Singles Awareness Day
and happy Beka Day to any and all Drom fen on my flist.
So, this weather? Is EXACTLY why I came to Massachusetts for school. &hearts This is not just a snowstorm. Oh, no. This is THE snowstorm. This is the snowstorm I have been waiting for since September.
The entire campus is white. Walking back to my dorm from the FAC after the production meeting this morning, I swear to you I could have fallen into a snow bank and never been found. As of 12 the campus is closed and everything is canceled--classes, my rehearsal tonight, everything. I finally get my day off, and I get this gorgeous weather to boot. *is way, way too happy about this* &hearts &hearts &hearts
Admittedly I do wish they'd decided to close the campus earlier, before I had to trek down for the production meeting. Instead all of us--me, Jane, Wendy, Rich, and our TD Evan and lighting designer John--were down at the FAC in the blizzard trying to talk about tropical Colombia. Fun. Not. Then Jane and I were hanging around with Evan and whining about having to go to class despite the snowstorm and then we realized that Steve wasn't in his office so Jane called Amanda to check her e-mail and see if Steve had canceled class, and Amanda told us that everything after 12 was canceled, and I swear to you I danced in Rich's office. DANCED I TELL YOU.
This is a very nice thing to have happen.
I love Massachusetts.
