The post-PTSS Arturo was not the original Arturo we started Sliding with. Therefore, the original Arturo is still alive on that alternate world.
More and more I see this theory from various people, and I think I'm starting to believe it. It's certainly an interesting thing to ponder.
Also, your opinion about Doctor Who is 100% true. Half of what should/is considered canon certain fans can't seem to handle. There will never be a way to satisfy EVERYONE, and I'm absolutely fine with this. It just makes it more interesting. :)
