However, I can pretty much just say "I agree with everything you said." *nods* ;) They've just seriously got to step off of making Tosh the Official "I can't have a relationship without it ending it bloodshed, heartache or some weird essplody thing" girl. Like, yesterday. Grr! And you know I was totally *squeeing* at the "I saw it" stuff (and mentally cataloging some more good scenes for the eventual vid - still in progress ;) )!
Martha was freakin' made of awesome! I'm still working through DW s3 but so far, I'm perplexed at the hate the poor girl had lobbed at her. You know I love Rose (and yet you still love me anyway, awwwww... ;) ) but they're separate. Where does it say you can't love them both? What? It conflicts ship-wise? (I guess.) I ship TOTALLY conflicting ships all the time and don't see why people would have such a problem with that. *shakes head sadly* Tolerance, people. Tolerance! ;) You can love Martha and her Awesomeness and it won't bother any other character you might also want to love. TRUFAX! I is proof, yo! ;) (Though, honestly... I'm not sure I can say I ship Ten/Martha because, well, dude, I don't think he deserves her! O_O ;) She deserves somebody who loves her for all of her own awesomeness, not somebody who's making her think she's second best. o_O Though I LOVE the idea that he -- rightly! -- felt he owed her. ;) )
Luke!Skywalker!Jack... *snorts* Oy, I'm sure they didn't think anybody would catch the reference from such obscure source material. *more snorting* And I know, the whole "Mom, Dad, Little Brother, Fluffy the cat, Fido the dog and Chirpy the bird" (I'm sure those last three were in there somewhere ;) ) was a bit of a surprise. O_O ;) Kinda makes me wonder now if Jack's been making up the whole "Oh EVERYBODY's omnisexual in my time. Yep. Is trufax" all along... ;) Nah, seriously, I'd like to think that that was Adam's influence, since Jack really doesn't know, so he wouldn't know if it was wrong.
I, too, was spoiled about Owen. He's still not my favorite for the reasons you mentioned already but I've been warming to him a bit more this season. Though every time he dis's my girl Tosh I wanna smack the back of his head as hard as I can. Grrrr. However, I didn't particularly want him shot dead, you know? (And I agree about the lighting and composition of that shot! Even I noticed how great it was and I'm Captain Oblivious to most things like that! ;) )
