I don't have it yet, but I have no doubt that when I do acquire it, I will probably spend a week just... keeping it somewhere I can see it and staring warily at it. It terrifies me. The title alone terrifies me. And the cover art and the first line and EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT IT. Gaaah.

It's really terrifying. It's lying on the couch by me and I keep looking over at it and I don't know when I'm going to be able to read it because *flail*.

And I read the first few preview chapters on Jim's website as they were posted which is not at all helping my fear.

I have not read the preview chapters yet. I do remember reading on JB's Twitter that he laughed evilly while writing the last few chapters. ALSO NOT ENCOURAGING. *Flailyhands*

...I think I'm just going to go back to reading A Local Habitation, which is narrated by a female!faerie!Dresden, and try to not spaz about this at least until I actually have the book in my hands.

I've got up to A Wizard's Dilemma in my Young Wizards reread, so that's...not actually helping my flail. But at least with YW it's familiar flail.

It's definitely going to be at least a bit until I can steel myself to read it.

Dude, I'm just happy that I can FINALLY continue listening to them...I finally got my hands on audiobooks 6 and 7! Gah I love this series!

Yep...Blood Rites and Dead Beat....thus far I think my faves have been Summer Knight and Death Masks....man I can't believe it's taken me this long to get into the series!!

It's such a great series! Especially Dead Beat. Death Masks ranks in my favorites too. In large part for the introduction to Ivy and Kincaid. <3
