I loooooooved the shout-out to One, I thought that was fantastic! \o/ And I hadn't seen those interior pics yet, so thanks so much for the link! I wasn't really looking forward so much to a new TARDIS interior but I think I'm going to adore this new design. It kept so many of the things that I loved about Nine and Ten's TARDIS and added LEVELS! Stairs! Other rooms off the console room! ZOMG, I'm flailing over the levels, stairs and other rooms SO MUCH RIGHT NOW! \o/

Ahem. *blush* I'm really excited for this series, in case you, you know, couldn't tell from that... ;) *squishes you* ♥♥♥!!!

For my first bit of time in fandom I couldn't even figure out if the TARDIS having more rooms was fannon or cannon. I still haven't gotten to a point in Old Who where they show (or reference) other bits of the TARDIS, but I'm waiting and watching with something akin to patience.

Offhand, there's a couple scenes in early One that take place in rooms other than the console room (plus "The Edge of Destruction" which takes place entirely inside the TARDIS), and I know during the Fifth Doctor's era we go into Nyssa and Tegan's bedroom a few times. Oh! And in Five's first episode he spends a while wandering through the corridors and winding up in various rooms.

...There are more examples that I'm forgetting, I'm sure.
