Doctor Who The Shakespeare Code non-spoilery review: Loved it. Love Martha. Kinda want to smack the Doctor, but Shakespeare is awesome enough to make up for that.
Also, that is really a fairly accurate representation of real theatre. Opening night, you're doing your best, the audience loves you, and then the playwright staggers onstage drunk, yells that you have to stop the show, and passes out, leaving you to drag his body offstage and keep going.
I'm joking. Mostly.
Dresden Files Things That Go Bump (TV-verse) non-spoilery review:
"I am not always blowing things up!"
"Right. Sometimes you set them on fire."
Hee, Harry, ♥ you.
Dresden Files White Night (book-verse) non-spoilery review: Okay, no, I'm not finished with it. Actually I've barely started. But anyway, my roommate spoils me willfully as to plot turns because she knows that I'm a spoilerwhore and RAMIREZ. ♥ ♥ ♥
RL: Midsummer has a set! It looks like a set! Er, kind of. One of the trees looks rather like the leg of a giant elephant which is not geographically correct, but we'll have that fixed, ys. Anyway, we have a set that can be used and climbed on and things so now we just need to get the cast used to it. Yay!
