This remind you of anything, Jack?
It's the two-year anniversary of the end of LOST so now I'm rewatching "The End" and being quietly miserable.
Why are you gone, show?
Whyyyy?
(Also, have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy Kate's reaction to the name "Christian Shephard"? Because that was EVERY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE'S reaction about six years prior.)
(Also also, flashforward!Desmond will never not be amusingly creeptastic. And yet that still does not relieve my misery at missing this show.)
(Also also also, Team Hurley forever.)

I still have no idea just what the hell happened to LOST. The first season was so awesome, then everything turned it a purgatory crapness.

LOST certainly hit its rough patches but all the seasons had their fair share of awesomeness. Like Desmond Hume! If you cut out everything after season one, you lose Desmond Hume.

(Anonymous) 2012-05-31 03:36 pm (UTC)(link)Sorry I should have elaborated more. I liked quiet a lot about post-season 1 LOST, but I felt that the show was ruined by constant additions to the basic formula.
The idea of plane-crash survivors trapped on a remote island with a scary monster, crazy French Minbari, murderous baby stealing tribe, totally random polar bears and OMGHATCHINTHEGROUND was AWESOME.
...then all of it was explained rationally. D: *sad*
BUT THEN THERE WAS DESMOND!
