i always wanted to be brave. i figured, do the brave thing and ... bravery would follow.

Okay, so, yeah, I fail at LJ recently. I'm sorry. Eventually I will get used to this new schedule and be able to get online more often or more efficiently or more ... something.

Happy Beka Day!

In fannish news, I am way behind in everything due to poor time management and bad sleeping patterns, but I'm getting caught up. Slowly, but getting there. In happy news, Emilie de Ravin on Once Upon A Time was pretty awesome, wasn't she? I love her and everything that episode chose to be. In less happy news, I think I'm going to drop Alcatraz. I love Jorge and I think it's an interesting concept but it's just not hooking me so far.

How's tricks?

*SALUTES BACK*

I'm always like, "Katie, you like sci-fi! You like awesome female characters! You like tons of political shenanigans and themes about oppression and social justice! DON'T LET HERCULES FOOL YOU, THIS IS WHAT ANDROMEDA IS ABOUT."

Okay, and the badassery of Capt. Valentine, which is icing on the cake!

(Seriously I think Andromeda has the best set of female characters of any show I've watched regularly.)

It is EXTREMELY TRUE, because Andromeda had a high number of female characters, all of whom were different from each other and all of whom were BADASS AND AWESOME ♥♥♥
