did i ever tell you about this boy i met there? he pretended to be in a band...

HOLY SHIT.

Raise your hand if that didn't make you cry.

*completely fails to raise hand*

AMY.

AMY/RORY.

DOCTOR.

D: D: D:

I am just full of flail and shock over this episode. I mean. God. What?

AMY.

How does Karen Gillan make her face do all that? I REALLY WANT TO KNOW.

And then RORY and then AMY/RORY and the two Amys talking about Rory and older!Amy's face when she realized the Doctor and Rory and young!Amy were leaving without her and her breakdown at the TARDIS door and *flail*

I don't have words.

I'm really starting to get the feeling that the story arc is leading to Amy and Rory leaving the TARDIS hating the Doctor. Which I don't want to happen because I love them all, but oh God is he screwing up their lives and there seem to be a lot of clues pointing in that direction and ARRRGH "You're turning me into you." RORY. D:

I mean there were lighter moments too, like older!Amy and the Doctor bickering over whether it's a sonic screwdriver or a sonic probe (and then "Of course it's a screwdriver!" ♥ Amy) and the two Amys bickering over which of them is Amy 1 and things like that, and there was cute moments like older!Amy flirting with Rory and reminiscing about their first meeting and the two Amys talking about what made them fall in love with Rory and basically all the cuteness that is Amy/Rory ...

But then there was AMY and AMY and RORY and their POOR BROKEN HEARTS and I JUST CAN'T D: D: D:

I JUST CAN'T.

I bawled....well, it was a little past a manly single tear....but yeah..their whole speech about why they love Rory got me teary but it was the ending with older Amy that got me...just her realization that she HAD to stay...for Rory's sake she had to.

This was a GREAT episode...and I want to just punch people who say that Amy really doesn't love Rory in the face. I mean, c'mon! How much more do they have to say it!? I mean she literally very nearly tore apart time and space for him.

This really was a great episode for everyone...showed that Amy is capable....that Rory, no matter what, will do his damnedest to protect Amy...that the Doctor for all his human qualities, still has moments of alien thought and is a damn good liar. And I'm starting to think you're right...that the arc for Amy and Rory will be that they walk away from the Doctor...not that he leaves them...but that he does something they just can't agree with and they know now that they'll probably never get their baby back so they walk away and attempt a doctor free life.

But yeah...I feel like this is the end of my OTP's companionship with the Doctor...leaves me wondering what will come next season. Is it wrong that I want him to have a male companion finally...not a tag-a-long like Rory started out as...but a legitimate companion who is male.

It's so obvious that she loves him deeply that I literally cannot understand the people who claim that their relationship is one-sided. I mean, yes, she has massive abandonment issues, and largely seems to deal with her emotions like a twelve-year-old boy when possible, but she so obviously loves him. Completely, deeply, with all her heart loves him.

Is it wrong that I want him to have a male companion finally...not a tag-a-long like Rory started out as...but a legitimate companion who is male.

I've got fingers crossed for a primary companion who isn't from the early 21st century.

Ooooo, that would be interesting if he snatched someone from the past!
