I think these are very interesting points, and make a lot of sense. I hadn't considered the different relationships to home or memory before--I'm usually too bothered by their different approaches to character. But then the home bit sort of plays into that, RTD could be about home because it gives a character backstory and defines them, while Moff has the Doctor as a means of escape cuz that's a more interesting plot.

Now I'm really curious to see if these themes continue in Season 6.
