"You mean I'm not crazy?" "No, I don't think you are."
Conclusions drawn from my LOST S6 rewatch so far (just finished disc 3!):
♦ Michael is one of the ones who "can't move on" not because what he did was so bad (which makes no sense anyway, dammit, plenty of people who moved on did as bad or worse) but because he was consumed with guilt at the moment of his death and therefore would not allow himself to move on.
♦♦ Obviously Walt fixes this. Yay Walt!
♦ Libby is in a psychiatric hospital in the sideways verse because she felt guilty about not telling Hurley about her psychiatric issues in the real world. Sort of a resolution to that little fact.
♦♦ I'm still sad about the lack of Libby backstory tho.
♦ I've decided I can handwave Dan's sideverse accent as Charles and Eloise raising him in the States (although that still doesn't explain his real world accent, Mr. I was raised in England by a British mother but I think I'll speak with an American accent) and I can handwave Richard's present day accent as something he picked up from Jacob (although that still leaves the much more pressing question of why Jacob and Samuel speak with American accents which I can't handwave at all wtf whyyyy).
♦♦ They still count as 'inexplicable Americans', though.
♦♦ And I still think Alex should've had some influence of a French accent in the sideverse. :|
♦ Desmond's such a creeper in the sideverse. ♥ Not that that's news or a new interpretation or anything, but aww. I think I managed to forget how much of a creeper he is in the sideverse and then I watch it and go "Oh, Des, you're such a creeper. DON'T GO WITH HIM, PENNY...no, no, go with him, Penny, even if he's a creeper he's still your Desmond and you two are the best love story ever ♥♥♥." Insert starry eyes here.
♦ I still wish Sawyer/Charlotte had gotten more than that little bit. That was hot, yo.
♦ Claire's hair in this season is so terrible. Again not at all news, but srsly, wig department, I've forgiven you a lot over the course of LOST but I may never forgive you for Claire's S6 hair. Why would you do that to poor Emilie?
♦ I'm torn on whether Ab Aeterno or The Constant is the best episode of the show.
