In honor of All Hallow's Eve, I'm inviting trick-or-treaters to my 'door.' Comment "Trick or Treat" to this post and... well, you know the drill. Treats can be anything that strikes my fancy (pics of your fave actors or pairings, one sentence fics, graphics, a few words why I'm glad to have you on my flist, etc. etc.). The more "houses" to visit the more fun it'll be, so go ahead, open your journal and help spread the fun!

One of my favorite Eleven/River moments -- he just gets so awkward and puppyish about it!

It's cold when Florence meets Freddie for the first time. He's wearing a scarf; she's reading Joyce. He buys her coffee and they walk to the park together. She likes his smile, he likes her accent. They talk about poetry (he knows none) and the weather (it might snow), and when they get to the park, they play chess.
She wins, and that surprises him.
After that, they mostly talk about the game. When they say goodbye he asks for her phone number and she gives it to him, and that surprises her.
He calls the next day and they spend an hour discussing the advantages and disadvantages of Kieninger Trap. She's meant to be reading Proust. She doesn't mind at all.
She thinks this one might actually go somewhere.
